The Blue Eyed Bandit
Cremello Stud - DOB: 5-6-24
HotRod has been one of the faces of the Slash2D Ranch for many years. She has been a ranch horse, part of the sale barn string since she was 2, and is on her way to becoming a well rounded performance mare. Last year, we had the opportunity to breed to Two Eyed Driftin Lad, from Faithful Quarter Horses in Baker, MT. Lad traces back to some of our all time favorite lines, Ciderwood, Peppy San, and a cross that has performed well for us, Harlan and Two Eyed Jack. Producing calm, good minded foals has been a hallmark of Faithful Quarter Horses program, and we are so excited to see what HotRod gives us!

2023 Foals
Ciscos Lil Billie Jo
Chestnut Filly - DOB: 5-19-23
This little filly is very special, as it will be the last out of Billie, who is being retired this year from the broodmare band. This cross has been a golden one for us and we are super excited to see this little gal grow up! If she is anything like the rest of her siblings, she will be athletic, trainable, and have a wonderful temperament!

Mr Rich Dandy
Bay Colt - DOB: 6-15-23
Dandy is such a sweetheart! He had a bit of a struggle at first due to a leg issue, but he grew out of it and has since become a favorite around the ranch! We are planning to keep him back for a year or two and sell him as a ride horse. He is the kindest little guy you'd ever meet and would make a fabulous kids horse for someone!
Ciscos Briar Rose
Perlino Filly - DOB: 5-15-23
We had some very high hopes for this cross, namely a filly to replace Aurora, as this will be her last foal, and we are not disappointed! A pretty little filly that is going to be very special! Color, Class, and loads of style, miss Rosie has a bright future ahead of her!

Monte gave us a beautiful brown (most likely will become gray/roan) filly on 5-15-22. Naccona is thrilled, as this will be her next saddle horse, and has the same birthday as her palomino. Miss Bunny is a curious little one who inherited her mother's sassy personality. She is little but she is mighty! With her pedigree she will make a handy using horse and hopefully produce some foals for us in the future.

Sire is currently being shown in AQHA and High School Working Cow Horse and speed events. Proven Producer of Futurity Champions and Money Earners.
2021 Foals
Ranger
Roan gelding - DOB 6-12-2021
Ranger is a very special little horse on this ranch! His dam is none other than Shilo, DeeDee's amazing blue roan saddle mare, and his sire is Cisco Mr Trouble, our ranch stallion. He is grade, due to his mother being grade, but with how phenomenal Shilo is, we decided that we wanted to have a foal out of her, and how better to sire it than Cisco! He has proven to have the best traits of both parents and is well on his way to making a nice saddle gelding. His partial blue eyes, we believe came from Shilo, who has some vision issues and were a surprise to all when we saw him the day he was born. Coat color is TBD, as he changes colors and shades daily. Right now we are just calling him roan!
